About Aidan Flanagan
Artist and printmaker Aidan Flanagan creates Irish Landscape Art Prints in Limited Editions. He depicts the beautiful and wild Irish landscape through his art prints, by creating original handmade Screenprints, Etchings, Photopolymer Intaglio, Carborundum, Drypoint and monotype Prints.
Aidan taught himself how to do screenprinting during the 1990’s. He later added new printmaking skills (Etching, Carborundum and Photopolymer Intaglio and monotype) through workshops at the Graphic Studio Dublin.
The photo shows Aidan with two of his four A2 size Carborundum/Drypoint/Watercolour Chine Colle prints at the “Printworks Exhibition” in Droichead Arts Centre, Drogheda in 2018.
These original landscape art prints of scenes in Ireland have been created and hand-printed using water-based screenprint materials, on Fabriano Artistico HP Watercolour Paper, and Akua Intaglio inks on Fabriano paper.
Aidan has exhibited his prints at Royal Hibernial Academy, Royal Ulster Academy, Ballinglen Museum of Art, International Print Center New York, Centre for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk, Connecticut, Eigse at Carlow Visual, Limerick Printmakers, Miniprint de Cadaques, Spain.

About Original Prints
An original print is a work of art created by hand and printed by hand, either by the artist, from a plate, block, stone, or stencil that has been hand created by the artist for the sole purpose of producing the desired image.
Each of the prints is in a Limited Edition (A print run of a set length that is not exceeded or reprinted).
Each print is signed and numbered by Aidan Flanagan the artist to guarantee its quality, and that the edition is limited to the declared number of prints.
The Limited Edition for each print varies. In general, the larger size prints are in smaller Editions. Details regarding Edition size and number of layers accompanies each print.
By contrast, a reproduction print is a copy of an existing artwork. I do not produce reproduction prints.
There are only Original Handmade Prints on this website.
